Planification et chirurgie implantaire. Apport du sytème X-guide®

Abstract : Implantology is no exception to the digital revolution of the 21st century. Board-based planning and freehand surgery, now give way to digital tools. Planning software is now varied, bringing comfort and precision to practitioners. For the surgical phase, guides with dental, mucous membrane and bone support have been proven through numerous comparative studies. Recently, this guided surgery leaves room for a so-called navigated surgery. Nobelbiocare ™, offers an innovative dynamic surgery concept represented by the X-Guide® system. It has undeniable advantages of precision, speed and working comfort compared to freehand or guided surgery. However, drawbacks exist and must be raised. The two techniques, guided and navigated, each keep their indications and their followers. This comparison of the different systems makes it possible to advance new implant surgery tools so that they are more and more efficient and provide practitioners and their patients with notable safety and efficiency.
