Les paysages énergétiques, nouvelles impulsions au territoire ? Comment un projet d'énergie renouvelable peut-il donner un sens à des espaces en dormance ?

Abstract : For centuries, the use of energy has marked the landscape, through improvements and innovations that they have enabled. Today, France has embarked on a «natural» energy transition policy. Renewable energies have become one of the solutions to the new challenges of this energy policy. We see wind turbines growing in our landscapes, the hills and plateaus are covered with photovoltaic parks. In spite of a positive appreciation of this energy, local opposition sometimes appears in the projects of installations of photovoltaic parks. One of the arguments is the modification of the landscapes that welcome them. Indeed a photovoltaic park project is a long process that follows a precise methodology and the most objective possible. In order to create a project in real “symbiosis” with the landscape that will host it, taking into account the perceptions of the local population is essential. Witness to a forgotten past, abandoned spaces become places conducive to the development of these projects. These solar landscaped parks create a new impulse on a dormant place. This new «energy» focused on the integration of projects into the landscape offers concrete futures to spaces forgotten by human.
