Supports pédagogiques en odontologie pédiatrique : anesthésie, prothèse et chirurgie

Abstract : Immersion in the realities of the clinic is a key stage in the life of dental students: first patient’s care, first technical actions ... This new caregiver status, tought in responsibilities and personal work, can generate stress for the students.
Pediatric dentistry represent an other challenge: it is necessary to make a diagnosis and the therapeutic management of a child, which can sometimes seem difficult for a student. Behavioral management or the specifics of temporary or immature permanent teeth can be confusing, especially since the children in the hospital are not always very cooperative ...In order to help students in their vacations in pediatric dentistry, an educational project, including sheets (material and protocol) and educational videos has been developed in two volumes.
A first work, focuses on consultation and conservative dentistry. This second work focuses on anesthesia, prosthesis and surgery in pediatric dentistry. These materials will be integrated into the pediatric dentistry syllabus and subsequently accessible at any time from the "DentaPoche" website set up by the faculty of dental surgery at the University of Nice Côte d´Azur.
