Étude d'impact de l'introduction des trousses sur mesure dans la ligamentoplastie du genou au CHU de Toulouse

Abstract : Sustainable development has become a major issue for our society. This is also the case for health care institutions and in particular for operating rooms, due to their significant consumption of energy, water, medical devices, waste production and their complex organization. According to the literature, custom packs contribute to sustainable development. It is in this context that we wanted to compare their impact on sustainable development in knee ligamentoplasties at the Toulouse University Hospital in comparison with the surgical draping kits already present. The results are encouraging. Despite a non-negligible additional cost, the referencing of the custom packs has significantly improved the quality of life at work of the users, in particular the operating room nurses. They allow to have action on multiple factors related to musculoskeletal disorders: the reduction of biomechanical constraints, the reduction of stress or the optimization of working time. They also have a positive impact on the environment by reducing the amount of packaging. These custom packs have been implemented in many operating rooms of the Toulouse University Hospital. It would therefore be interesting to carry out a study on a larger scale.
