Les principales zoonoses transmises à l’homme par les carnivores domestiques

Abstract : Zoonosis are an important worldwide public health risks and in 21st century, the importance of these risks do not stop to increase due to globalisation and climate changes. That is why, the pharmacist’s knowledges about risks involved for human health but as well for animals are essential. In this thesis report, major zoonosis found in France are summarized by transmission types. From zoonosis transmitted by ingestion to transmitted by arthropod bites zoonoses, and including those transmitted via bites or scratches by the animal. For each of them, key parameters of disease understanding and uptake are described in precise details: human and veterinary clinical manifestations, and treatment, risk prevention and pharmacist consultancy.
