Évaluation des connaissances des étudiants de l‘Université Clermont Auvergne concernant le dépistage et la prévention des infections sexuellement transmissibles

Abstract : Objectives - To evaluate the knowledge of students at the University of Clermont-Auvergne concerning the screening and prevention of sexually transmitted infections. To compare the knowledge according to the fields of study. Method - Descriptive cross-sectional study carried out by an anonymous online questionnaire distributed to students of the University of Clermont-Auvergne. Results - The average knowledge score out of 20 was 15.2 in Health, 11.9 in Law, 13.3 in Humanities, and 12.7 in the "other" tracks. Of the 815 participants, 341 (41.9%) were in Health, 460 (56.4%) were in Law, 5 (0.6%) were in Humanities, and 9 (1.1%) were in the "other" tracks. Conclusion - This study revealed a general lack of knowledge on the part of students regarding STI screening and prevention. Prevention work should be continued and reinforced with young people and students, as this study has shown.
