Sous quelles conditions l’utilisation d’hydro-rétenteurs pourrait-il être une solution viable afin de limiter les interventions d’arrosage durant les périodes de parachèvement/confortement ?

Abstract : Watering is an essential task for the growth of the plant after planting. The landscape company, in charge of the good development of the plants during the time of their guaranteed gestion, must therefore adopt different management strategies. It also must face with companies practising management methods that do not respect the plants and selling their services at very low prices. In order to remain competitive, new strategies must be initiate. Hydro-retentive are treatments applied in the soil to increase the storage capacity of the soil water retention. We will see what current management methods established by landscape companies to limit the number of watering passes to save money. Following the experiment set up on a shrub plantation to test the effects of hydro-retentive on watering frequency, we will also compare these results with water balance calculations carried out on trees and flowerbeds. Finally, we will compare all these results to establish hypotheses for the use of hydro-retentive in a landscape company.
