L'impact de l'escape game pédagogique sur l'engagement des apprenants d'une langue étrangère

Abstract : In this thesis, we attempted to demonstrate the relevance of introducing the educational escape game in the context of foreign language learning. The aim is to measure the commitment of an audience of five adult learners at the target A1 level of literal arabic during a virtual educational escape game session. This device was designed on the basis of a balance between playfulness and pedagogy, and is based on a narrative immersion. The aim of this study is to analyse the behaviour, states and emotions of the learners aroused by the immersive experience and to transpose them with their relationship to the introduced notions. This qualitative analysis is based on comprehensive interviews and questionnaires conducted before and after the game session, which makes it possible to observe the evolution of the engagement of the learners-players in and outside of the game.
