Abstract : Neurovisual disorders affect more than half of all children with cerebral palsy. Despite this high prevalence, neurovisual disorders are not always taken into account in these children, particularly in the context of speech therapy. In fact, the majority of tests that assess oral language are based on visual input. In naming and designation tests used to assess active and passive lexis, the visual support presented is essential. It must allow, by its mere representation, the retrieval in memory of the word expected in naming and the correct visual identification of the word heard in designation. It is therefore essential to have tools adapted to these disorders in order to best assess the lexical abilities of these patients. In the theoretical section, various studies and resources are cited that have highlighted the value of colour photography as a visual aid for cerebral palsy patients. A case study with a 9 years old girl with cerebral palsy allowed the adaptation of a naming and designation test from the EVALEO 6-15 battery to be put into practice. The main hypothesis of this study is that by replacing pictures with photographs in the tests, we would see an improvement in scores through better recognition of real objects. The results of our study show a tendency for scores to improve on presentation of the adapted tests. Moreover, the study's passages highlight essential elements for clinical practice concerning visual attention and gaze strategies. With regard to our study, the results obtained and the clinical elements observed can only express trends. These conclusions can only be confirmed with a larger number of participants.
