Du projet prothétique à la planification : apport du numérique en prothèse implantaire

Abstract : Over the last few years, implant surgery and digital technology have evolued together bring about considerable change in our daily practice. The contribution of digital technology makes the stages of the implant therapeutic chain more reliable and standardized in order to move towards an increasingly simplified practice, reproductible and secure. Some fundamental principles must be respected to sustain the success of our therapeutic results over time. Any implant prosthodontics must be preceded by a diagnostic analysis allowing design a therapeutic project. This one is simulated by a pre-surgical prosthetic project and complies functional and biological aesthetic criteria. It must be validated by the practitioner and the patient. Thus, throughout the therapeutic sessions, the prosthetic project developed initially is the practitioner’s course of action and guides each step of the treatment : this is known as guided prosthetic regeneration concept. The purpose of this work is to develop a digital therapeutic protocol in order to suggest a reproductible and reliable clinical approach to practitioners during their supra-implant rehabilitations. The success of therapeutic treatment, facilitated by digital advances however remains the result of close collaboration between the practitioner, the prosthetist and the patient who becomes active in the process.
