Quelles sont les échelles utilisées pour le dépistage de la dépression de l'enfant et de l'adolescent de 6 à 18 ans en soins primaires ? Une revue de la littérature faite sur Scopus, portant sur les articles 1161 à 2241

Abstract : Depression is frequent among children and adolescents but is often underestimated as its symptoms are different from adults’. There are several screening scales to detect depression, but most of them have been studied among adults. This thesis aims to study, through a systematic review, which screening scales are nowadays used to screen for depression among children and adolescent from 6 to 18 years old. Method : this study is a systematic review made from Scopus according to the PRISMA criteria. The 4643 articles (after removing the duplicates) have been divided in three research pairs. This thesis refers to the articles from 1161 to 2241. The selection of the articles has been made after dual reading. Results : 18 articles have been included in this study. 13 scales are here studied :BDI, BDI-II, BHS, CRS, CES-D, CES-D 10, DASS-21, HADS, RCADS, RCADS-25, RCADS-30, PHQ-A, and MDI. Only self questionnaires have been retained. The characteristics and avalaible psychometric properties of each scale have been extracted. Discussion: the studied scales explore various domains, some of them focus on the symptoms of depression, while other evaluate several psychiatric pathologies. Psychometric properties of the studied scales are overall good, although numerous datas are missing, which limits the scale’s reliability and the possibility to compare the scales between them. Conclusion: overall, the sudied scales have good characteristics and can be used in depression screening, provided that they have been validated for the age and in the language of the target population. However, the numerous missing datas weaken the results.
