Extension vaccinale de janvier 2018 : connaissances et implication des parents. Application mobile de suivi personnalisé

Abstract : Context: to the three vaccines already mandatory were added on January 1, 2018, eight others. In 2019, the majority of the population appears to be in favor of compulsory vaccination, but there are a number of factors contributing to vaccine reluctance. With the arrival of Covid-19 in France, a drop in the number of dispensing vaccines in pharmacies has been observed in the first half of 2020. Materials and methods: the study was carried out on a single-center basis in the maternity ward of the Grasse Hospital Center through questionnaires distributed to patients. They were divided into groups in order to make a comparison according to their parity and the dates of birth of their first child (ren) (before / after extension vaccination). Results: involvement increases between the ages of 21 and 40 but declines after the age of 40. It is lower for first-time mothers than for multiparas and higher for those who did not have children before the extension of the vaccine. The arrival of Covid-19 in France had no impact on their involvement in vaccination. Only 11% (16 patients) know the 11 compulsory vaccines. Despite everything, they tend to undervalue themselves. Some compulsory vaccines are well known (tetanus, measles, rubella) others are much less so. The level of information appears to be lower in first-time mothers; the midwife occupying a preponderant place for these.
