Problème de Rhizoctone brun sur les principales cultures du maraîchage nantais (mâche, laitue, épinard et radis) : caractérisation d'isolats de Rhizoctonia solani et recherche d'une méthode d'inoculation homogène et reproductible

Abstract : Rhizoctonia solani is a soil-borne pathogen that is very damaging to many market garden crops in Nantes. It was easily controlled by synthetic phytosanitary products which are banned today. The strains of this pathogen have become very aggressive and difficult to anticipate due to their great genetic diversity. In order to find effective biological control methods (biocontrol products or plant extracts), it is necessary to obtain homogeneous and reproducible disease pressure results. To achieve that, each isolate studied must be tested with a variety of inoculation techniques. In this study, three experiments were carried out, one on optimal growth temperatures and two on inoculation methods, to improve the knowledge on the different isolates of Rhizoctonia solani. The agar inoculation method in different forms is successful on the two isolates studied on lamb's lettuce, lettuce, spinach and radish. This method must be tested on the diversity of rhizoctonia strains in Nantes market gardening, in order to identify the effective biological solution for each isolate.
