Modélisation des phénomènes physiques se produisant lors de la montée en température d’un déchet radioactif d’enrobés de boues bituminées

Abstract : Nuclear bituminized waste products are produced by a treatment process of the liquid effluents coming from the operations of nuclear power plant. They are classified as long-lived intermediate-level waste. During the temperature increase we can identify four phenomena : the thermal stress of the walls, the thermal stress of the bitumen, the motion of the spherical inclusions (gas and liquid) and the exothermic reactions between salts. We linked the two first phenomena by considering the boundary conditions. The third one depends on the bitumen velocity field. We succeed to create a model connecting the three firsts phenomena. It allowed us to witness the implementation of convective structures among the bitumen.
