Oblitérations canalaires en endodontie : clarification terminologique et stratégies de prise en charge

Abstract : Pulp canal obliteration (PCO) refers to constatation of root canal disappearance upon X-ray radiographs, thus leading to think that the canal might be partially if not totally obliterated. This situation can be diagnosed upon routine examination or when symptoms occur. This work aims to discuss about PCO origins and management strategies of such situations. It also presents a discussion about semantic related to PCO.
