Les anticorps monoclonaux à l'officine

Abstract : In 2020, 19 monoclonal antibodies were available at pharmacies in France. Resulting from the progress of biotechnology from the 1980s, monoclonal antibodies made their place first in hospitals and are now increasingly present in pharmacies. If initially the monoclonal antibodies essentially concern the immune system by being indicated in autoimmune pathologies, new antibodies are indicated in ophthalmology or endocrinology. As a result, monoclonal antibodies are part of the pharmacist’s profession, confronting them with specific dispensing, prevention and treatment rules detailed in this work.
