Influence de la localisation du prélèvement palatin sur l'intégration esthétique et la pérennité des greffes conjonctives enfouies

Abstract : Gingival recession is defined by the displacement of the marginal gingiva apically at the enamel-cementary junction of a tooth. This is a real public health problem which can have an aesthetic and functional impact. Soft tissue grafting is increasingly used in clinical practice to correct unsightly gingival recessions, strengthen the periodontium and optimize periodontal support during implant therapy. The scientific community agrees that a connective tissue graft associated with a coronally positioned pedicle flap represents the "gold standard" in root covering treatments. Many protocols for harvesting and grafting connective tissue have been explored in the literature. However, we have very few informations regarding the impact of the location of these connective samples on the aesthetic integration and the durability of these buried connective grafts.This work has made it possible to redefine an anatomical map of the different connective tissue samples as well as their histological characteristics and their influence on the aesthetic integration and durability of buried connective grafts.
