Réussite de l’épreuve du travail chez les femmes porteuses d’utérus bicicatriciel

Abstract : In 2010, in France, the cesarean rate was estimated to 21% against 11% in 1981. This way, third elective repeat cesarean delivery will be planned in cases of a next pregnancy for more and more parturients who had two prior cesarean deliveries. Nevertheless, some maternities attempt the trial of labor for these patients. This study objects to identify predictive factors of success of trial of labor. A retrospective survey about 51 women who had two prior cesarean deliveries for which a vaginal birth after two cesarean deliveries have been accepted, have been realized for five years at Villeneuve Saint-Georges maternity. The results showed that previous vaginal delivery and Bishop Score were the most predictive factors of success of vaginal delivery. An attempt of trial of labor would be allowed if patients fulfil at least one of these two selection criteria.
