Potentialités d'un socle de données 3D pour une grande collectivité : le cas de Metz Métropole

Abstract : The use of 3D is booming in today's society. Nevertheless, it’s still difficult today for a local authority to manage and operate the three-dimensional information available to them at city level. The purpose of this study led within Metz Métropole is to develop solutions to surpass these difficulties. This graduation projects allowed to set up a processing chains for common operations related to 3D data, to compose a first product based on the combination of several of these data and to provide opportunities for the development of a 3D database. A reflection on the future of this type of information in local communities has also been proposed. It’s based on current sharing between the diverse actors in 3D. Moreover, these data are intended to be in 3D GIS. However, to date, the tests performed do not allow its implementation, but some tracks studied are promising and should be followed.
