Comment diversifier l'offre sportive dans les espaces publics urbains ?

Abstract : Sport, as a free practice, is an issue more and more present in cities. If the benefits of regular physical activity are now admitted by all, local authorities struggle to meet the needs of the population. Indeed, many constraints, inherent part of public space development projects, make the emergence of innovations difficult and tend to standardize the offer. However, examples of creative concepts and realisations, in France and abroad, propose new forms of practices and encourage users’ appropriation. By working closely with the citizens and by transforming the common project templates, innovative answers can emerge. They are the basis of a diversification of sport opportunities within cities.
