Protocole d'étude de cohorte : les facteurs de risque de l'asthme de l'enfant d'âge préscolaire

Abstract : Preschool asthma is a common disease, affecting 11 % of french children. It has important consequencies, especialy in quality of life, despite the treatment's significant efficiency. A part of the answer is that there're a lot of over and underdiagnosis and lead to a poor managment. Indeed, the diagnosis of preschool asthma is difficult. There is no consensus on symptoms. Its differential diagnosis are multiple with close symptomatology. And their is no diagnostic tests available in primary care. This thesis cover a prospective cohort study in France in primary care. The interest of our study lies in identifying an at risk population for preschool asthma in order in improving the diagnosis and the managment in primary care. The main objective is to identify the risk and protective factors of preschool asthma. It'll follow children under 12 months of age divided into 2 groups for 60 months. One with children suffering from their first bronchiolitis and the second with children without bronchiolitis. Folow up will be provided by questionnaires, medical exams and administrative data. It will study several risk and protective factors, the consumption of care and medical goods or whether asthma prevalence.
