Les risques naturels à Mayotte : la réalité d'une population vulnérable

Abstract : This memory subject is on the importance of vulnerability factors in the analysis of natural risk, more complex than just the natural causes. For this, the vulnerability of the Mayotte territory is used as a case study. Because of the many possible definitions, our work essentially studies the poverty-related factors that make some people more vulnerable than others. Mayotte is really in an unstable socialn political and environmental situation where the main problem is the massive immigration. These marginalized populations are therefore the most exposed to diferent hazards. So it is interesting to analyze the risk management policy that appears to be unsuitable in the territory of Mayotte.
