L'articulation entre biodiversité et agriculture dans les communautés de communes : le cas des communautés de communes du Béarn

Abstract : The rise of environmental concerns at the end of the 20th century has highlighted the impacts of agriculture on the environment, and more particularly on biodiversity. Today, faced with the 6th largest extinction of species, governments have implemented actions to fight against this phenomenon. In France, decentralization laws have enabled the transfer of powers to local authorities, including communities of communes, which are considered key players in the fight against biodiversity erosion. As the agricultural sector is today subject to multiple challenges, local authorities are working towards an agro-ecological transition that would be more respectful of the environment and take into account biodiversity issues.
