Intérêt de la télé rééducation dans la prise en charge des patients après une arthroplastie

Abstract : Introduction: Teleconsultation is starting to be used more and more. Under certain conditions, tele rehabilitation is an interesting solution to add to the arsenal of the physiotherapist. Its effectiveness, l though studied for many years, still needs to be evaluated. Objective: Assessing the value of telerehabilitation in the treatment of patients after prosthetic arthroplasty. Material and methods: Systematic search of PubMed, PEDro, Cohrane and Google Scholar scientific databases. This literature review follows a therapeutic scheme and includes only randomised clinical trials meeting specific criteria and published after 2010. 4 randomised clinical trials were included in this review. Results: Of the four papers, three show non-inferiority of tele-education compared to standard treatment and one paper shows no significant difference between the two treatments. Discussion: The results are analysed with caution, as the clinical trials are quite heterogeneous at several levels, especially at the intervention level. Conclusion: The evolution of functional impact, pain and gait seem to be non-inferior with telerehabilitation treatment compared to standard treatment. However, studies describing more precisely the interventions in the intervention and control groups are needed to give a reliable and applicable conclusion.
