Procédure de collage sur un scellement dentinaire immédiat : revue systématique de la littérature

Abstract : Cementation is an essential procedure for ensuring durable restorations, especially with the development of partial restorations. It requires a rigorous analysis of many parameters such as the dental substrate and the restorative materials used. More specifically, prerequisites are necessary when we have to bond to dentin because it is only an ideal substrate when it is freshly cut. The solution is to perform an immediate dentine sealing on the day of tooth preparation in order to overcome the difficulties encountered when bonding indirect restorations to this tissue. This protocol reveals a new substrate to be bonded to: a resinous area surrounded by a peripheral enamel band. The protocols used on this new interface vary from one dentist to another. That’s why we have reviewed the recent literature on surface conditioning methods and on the most appropriate bonding protocol for pre-hybridized dentin. To our knowledge, there has been no literature review to date on the specificity of the cementation protocol on pre-hybrid dentin.
