Approche historique des identités montagnardes à travers les mobilités professionnelles et familiales : Belledonne, XXe siècle

Abstract : The land construction is a galaxy in which many parameters concerning the whole of the Human Sciences intervene. The actual needs of local as regional development encourage doing a historical situation analysis of the identities, which often lack in prospecting and governance.
This reasoning implies to deepen the knowledge of the sociability and the environment, and to restore the links between the present, the past (the 20th century mainly) and the future.
Because of its natural constraints, at each era, the populations living in the Alp mountain area have to face specific constraints, which imply varied ways of adaptation.
Between the country and urban areas, the key players of the mountain range of Belledonne, even if they are federate by networks, have difficulties to accept the complexity and the middle place of their land. By reifying the past for internal promotion, a logic which applies to the town as to the land, the collective representations and the patrimonial selection drawn from it do not show the plurality of origins and individual choices made in each generation. The integration process of the newcomers tends to be looked upon as no-significant faced with the control of real estate and the priority given to the preservation of farming. This is a neutralising phenomenon which is detectable elsewhere in the evolution of families and groups. It partakes of a tendency to increase the insularity feeling as Claude Lévi-Strauss defined it, and to a false cultural homogeneity.
To be from here and elsewhere... The way in through mobility, without dissociating family and professional, the comparison between representations and the stories of life shed another light on the tracaebility of values, aiming to probe their relativity.
If it does not cancel the deal, this historical and anthropological approach of Belledonne' mountain range enables to grasp better the realities and the historicity of the "available" social capital, by simply giving back substance to real-life experience and to the less visible.
