Les erreurs phonologiques en français des étudiants taïwanais débutants : analyse et propositions de correction

Abstract : The objective of this dissertation is to research the phonological difficulties confronted by debutant Taiwanese students. It is an effort to identify the general difficulties faced by Taiwanese students in order to progressively improve the methods of teaching FLE, given that books and manuals on phonological difficulties are inadequate in Taiwan. It is to be noted that since Mandarin is a language totally different from French, with a phonological system radically different, it is not easy for Taiwanese students to learn French. Difficulties such as plosive voiced sounds and nasal vowels persist as problems for the Taiwanese student. Thus, this dissertation makes a comparative analysis of these two languages, showing the result of the test, and proposing possible phonetic corrections for debutant Taiwanese students, which can also help teachers apply the necessary methods in order to help students with their difficulties.
