With change of family lifestyle, between divorce and reconstituted family, searches for paternity are in upheaval. Technical advances in molecular biology and genetics make it possible to establish almost certainly blood relationship. It is interesting to consider the situation of paternity testing in France, and their possible future. Their use is strictly controlled in order to preserve the family peace. At time of the bioethics laws reforms and in regard to foreign legislations, is it possible in France to have over-the-counter paternity tests at pharmacy?
