Mères avant tout ? L'image des femmes dans la Seconde Guerre mondiale à travers la presse de la Libération

Abstract : The Liberation of Paris in august 1944, and then of the rest of France let place at the post-war reconstruction. This context creats the necessity of polictical renewal, which quickly genrates the opposition between Gaullists and Communists. But is this a synonym of a reconstruction of the French society? It is with this image that this thesis is going to treat this question. Indeed, during the War, the apparition of the Resistance against her extrem opposit which was the collaboration, or the daily difficulties imposed by the Occupation assume an evolution of the life choices of the French. The writting press then, takes an major importance to study the French people's representation of their society after the Liberation. This research's aim is to find the place taking by women in France after the War. Moreover the issue of this work is more precisely to establish the representation of women given by the Liberation writting press, during the Second World War through four daily newspapers: Le Figaro, L'Humanité, Le Dauphiné Libéré et Les Allobroges.
