Les interactions entre l'industrie pharmaceutique et les professionnels de santé‎ : un challenge permanent‎

Abstract : Today, interactions between the pharmaceutical industry and Healthcare professionals are under the spotlights. However, these interactions are necessary for the development and the proper use of drugs. There are different kinds of interactions each has its own risks of conflict of interest. Generally, these conflicts appear in case of divergence between the professional duty of the HCP toward his patient and the HCP's personal interests (financial and personal advantages). This phenomenon is currently framed by the law and by the pharmaceutical industry itself. These rules are constantly evolving and aim at more transparency and less advantages given to HCPs. Also, it could be interesting to build internationally harmonized laws, to reach a more independent continuous medical formation of HCPs.
