Étude de l'impact sur la flore adventice de plusieurs systèmes de culture à bas niveau d'intrants

Abstract : The ANR Micmac Design projects (Modelling for Integrated Crop Management in low input farming Assessment and Cropping system Design) aims to improve agriculture sustanaibility, in the south-west of France context (Toulouse). The study is about the impact on weeds of 5 cropping systems, comparatively with a control system (MM1 : Corn Monoculture 1). 3 systems are based on monoculture (MM2, MM3 et MM4 : Corn Monoculture2, 3 and 4), with an increasing gap between these systems and MM1. 2 other systems are based on different crop rotations (RC : Short Rotation (3 ans) and RL : Long Rotation (6 years)). Different means are used for building systems : Ray Grass/Violet Clover cover crop sowed under cover for MM2, strip-still and cover crop for MM3, strip-still and permanent white clover cover for MM4. The strategies used for rotations are diversity of crops, mechanical weeding, and tolerant varieties. Systems which allow the best weed management are MM2, RC and RL. MM3 et MM4, more innovative, are less efficient for the moment, because they are more complex to manage. They undergo respectively high density and high weed biomass. The experimentation has to be continued to obtain complete results on RC and RL.
