Comparaison du lexique religieux des XVIIIe-XIXe siècles et contemporain dans les langues des signes française et russe

Abstract : This work represents a vocabulary comparison of two languages: French Sign Language (LSF) and Russian Sign Language (LSR). After a short general introduction we present the historic context of the education of deaf children in Europe and Russia. In the second part of this work we examine the main sign classifications which exist nowadays in France and Russia. And finally, in the practical part we proceed to the comparison of some chosen signs of these two languages and the analysis of the etymology of these signs. We will see if there is a connection between the vocabularies of these two sign languages, what are their similarities and differences.
