De la lecture papier à la lecture numérique. Lecture d'écrits documentaires chez des élèves de cycle 3

Abstract : The documentary reading requires to understand what is read and to use it to build new knowledge. The children of primary education, natives of digital, are surrounded by writings on screen. With the development of Internet, the occasions to make research multiply and the activity of documentary reading becomes more varied then. This report wonders about media competences to work in the children of 8-11 years to enable them to read and to grow richer in documentary writings on screen. An experimentation carried out with a class of CE2-CM1 makes it possible to understand that, to train future citizens train future citizens, having retreat on the writings which they consult, it is very important to work before with them the activity of reading, the activity of navigation and the informational dimension (i.e. the comprehension). Solid assets in these three competences make it possible to the children to quickly control technical dimension, competence which is added when the documents are on digital support.
