Effets de la prise en charge précoce sur la communication prélinguistique dans la trisomie 21

Abstract : The purpose of this study was to assess early interaction skills, focusing on the case of 14 children with down syndrome. While some had benefited from early speech therapy, some others had not. Their age ranged from 24 months to 46 months. Speech evaluation included two parts: one test (ECSP) and a natural game situation with a partner that the child knew.. This comprehensive study allowed us to show the efficiency of the intervention on nonverbal communication skills.
