Le suivi de grossesse et l'accouchement chez les femmes de 43 ans et plus : étude rétrospective cas-témoin réalisée à la maternité du CHI de Sèvres du 1er janvier 2004 au 31 décembre 2011 : à propos de 114 cas

Abstract : Monitoring of pregnancy and childbirth in women 43 years and over. In 20 years, the number of late pregnancies has doubled. This paper aims to verify the maternal, obstetric and neonatal prognosis of 43 years and older women. A retrospective study, from 2004 to 2011, was conducted in a maternity of type IIA. 114 women 43 years and older (mean age = 43, 7 years) were compared to 122 matched controls, aged from 25 to 30 years of age (mean age = 27, 7 years). Our study shows an increased rate of gestational diabetes (16,7 % vs 6,6 %, p = 0,025, OR = 2,8 [1,12 ; 7,84]), a growth rate of caesarean (48,2 % vs 23 %, p < 0,001, OR = 3,11[1,70 ; 5,7]). The maternal age does not influence the neonatal outcome. The impact of the egg donation studied on 23 women, seems to increase in a not significant way the maternal and fetal pathologies. A multicenter analysis would be interesting to generalize our results.
