Soigner la dépression en psychomotricité : prendre conscience de son corps, aller à la rencontre de soi, devenir sujet

Abstract : The treatment of depression is a global public health concern. The World Health Organisation (WHO) stands that depression is due to affect a 350 million people in 2012 causing over a million suicides a year. Depression can damage both physical and psychological identity as well as body image and prevent oneself to stand as a subject of its own life. This study attempts to show the efficiency of psychomotricité developing body awareness to cure depression. Clinical cases have been studied during an internship at a community mental health centre for adult patients.
