Troubles attentionnels chez les patients acouphéniques

Abstract : The aim of this study was to evaluate the effects of chronic tinnitus on the attentional functions of 17 patients. Tinnitus may have strong repercussions on the patients’ quality of life as well as on their cognitive functions. Results revealed less rapid and less accurate perception whenever the patients’ attention was required in all types of auditory attention situations and especially in those involving sustained and divided visual attention.
