Encodage de la Trajectoire en japonais et en français par les locuteurs japanophones

Abstract : The present study aims to show the different strategies of coding the Path for Japanese speakers in Japanese as a mother tongue and French as a foreign language. How do both languages code the Path information? What are the difficulties for Japanese learners of French when learning to express the mouvement? The important quantity of complex predicates in Japanese seems to be a meaningful factor because they allow to encode easily Manner or Deixis. Complex Paths also constitute a difficulty because they are not coded the same way in both languages. Five native Japanese speakers (B1 in French) will express in both languages 30 translationnal spontaneous mouvements from the video clips of the Projet Trajectoire, Laboratoire de Dynamique du Langage of Lyon.
