Le rhume chez l’adulte : prévention et traitements. Conseils allopathiques et alternatifs à l’officine

Abstract : The common cold is a common viral disease, caused mainly by rhinoviruses. The most uncomfortable symptoms for which patients consult are nasal obstruction, sneezing and rhinorrhea. Currently, allopathic treatments aim to relieve symptoms and reduce the duration of colds. Fewer repaid (Derinox® , Rhinofluimucil®) and some removed from sale (Sudafed®) , these treatments are mainly local vasoconstrictor decongestants or antihistamines with many cons -indications and side effects. The community pharmacist has an alternative therapeutic arsenal (homeopathy, phytotherapy, aromatherapy, chiropractic, crystal healing, gemmotherapy, organotherapy) can be offered in both preventive as curative. Sheets aid officinalis board are proposed to provide an appropriate response depending on the stage of viral infection and the type of patient.
