Étude du contrôle biologique du ravageur Dysaphis plantaginea en verger cidricole par son cortège d'auxiliaires, en lien avec les infrastructures dites agro-écologiques et les pratiques agricoles

Abstract : In the current context of reducing the use of pesticide, the French Institute for Cider Production has set up a project since 2010, aiming at conceiving and experimenting new types of cider orchards with a low input. The project, called "Verger Cidricole de demain", is notably aiming at finding alternative solutions to the use of aphicides in the fight against one of the most harmful pests in young orchards : the rosy apple aphid (D. plantaginea). In order to favour the natural control of the D. plantaginea, a system testing the effect of strips of flowers and bocage hedges on the presence of populations of auxiliaries has been set up. The effect of the agroecological infrastructures has been evaluated on different auxiliaries and at three key moments in the infestation by the rosy apple aphid. The results from those analyses underline the strong links observed between the dynamic of the infestation by the rosy apple aphid and the dynamic of different auxiliaries (the hoverfly, the ladybird) as well as their strong dependence on the inherent parameters of the system (methods of cultivation ; the biology of arthropods). The analysis concludes that there is a beneficial effect of the different agroecological infrastructures regarding the presence of auxiliaries found on the infested plots.
