Cosmétiques et nouveau-nés‎. Évaluation de la sécurité d'emploi de 3 conservateurs : les parabènes, les isiothiazolinones et le phénoxyéthanol

Abstract : The European legislation (CE) n°1223/2009 asked for commercialised comestic products to be safety for human health when used in normal conditions. Unlike a premature baby, on time new born's skinris almost similar to the adult one. Moreover, there are some specificities due to a functional immaturity of the metabolic systems, to an increased area/weight ratio, and to a fragility of the seat area. We investigated the innocuousness of 3 preservatives usually found in cosmetics and destined to new barns: parabens, isothiazolinones and phenoxyethanol and came up with recommendations to facilitate the neonatal cosmetics choice.
