Le sentiment d'appartenance sociale : les apports d'un tournoi de futsal dans le cadre de la vie scolaire

Abstract : Scientific research attest that sense of belonging has a positive impact on school success because of his link with school climate and motivation. This sense of belonging coulb be correlate with student participation in extracurricular activities. So, does a futsal activity can influe on student's sense of belonging ? This memory will use the ESAS “Echelle du sentiment d'appartenance sociale” developed by Richer et Vallerand in 1998 to mesure the evolution of 6e and 5e student's sense of belonging, before and after the extracurricular activity. The principal hypothesis is that students who will participate at the activity will have a better sense of belonging compare to the students who won't participate. Results show that sense of belonging is lawer for everyone overlooked adults and peers but the decrease is smaller for whose who participate overlooked their peers.
