La voix de l’enfant en chorale

Abstract : This work focuses on the singing voice during CE2 and CM2. The song is often present at school. Students sing in chorus in their class, or class reunion. However, those with vocal difficulties are they progressing? We consider the concept of choral singing, we study the work of the singing voice, the specifics of the voice of the child, and the possible causes of difficulties. We arrived to this issue: How musical activities offered in a group setting can allow individual progress of students in singing? Suggested answers: the practice of "games" improves vocal and rhythmic mastery of students; listening to music causes an awareness of the concept of melody and tonal acculturation. A sequence was conducted with students from CE2 / CM2 to analyze the evolution of the class and more specifically of some students. The six sessions of this sequence (excluding diagnostic and final evaluation) allow working voice, rhythm and listening. We note the progress that we are trying to analyze in terms of technique, commitment, quality of interpretation and self-confidence.
