La rééducation périnéale du post-partum. La recherche de facteurs qui permettent de prescrire de manière efficiente la rééducation

Abstract : Theme: post-partum perineum rehabilitation. Objective: The objective of this study was to estimate the impact of some personal antecedent obstetric histories on the functional state of this perineum in order to efficiently prescribe perineal rehabilitation through an organizational chart. Material and method: This retrospective descriptive observational study was carried out in Paris XVII in the office of the midwife Krystel Canales. The Excel database collected 118 patients between the ages of 18 and 44 between March 2015 and July 2016. The study made it possible to compare parity, maternal age, and the birth route, birth weight, perineal issues, some symptoms with the perineal test and the number of rehabilitation sessions of the perineum. Results: The study showed that there was no significant difference between maternal age and muscular strength calculate by perineum test with p: 0.886 for initial test and p: 0.876 for final test. The test was not significantly different between primiparous and multiparous (p: 0.152 for the initial test and p: 0.313 for the final test). The perineum static was not significantly different than the women giving birth before or after 38 SA with p: 0.171 (initial test) and p: 0.840 (final test). They were not significantly different according to the delivery route with a p: 0.328 (initial testing) and p: 0.269 (final testing). The birth weight had no influence on the perineal equilibrium since there was no significant difference in muscle testing that the newborn weighed less or more than 3500 g (p: 0.235 initial testing And p: 1 final testing). The perineal statics, which included initial (p: 0.363) and final (p: 0.877), were not significantly different for perineal outcomes. The results were not significant for the improvement of the muscular strength and the reduction of the symptoms after 4 sessions. Conclusion: personal and obstetric factors do not appear to influence perineal statics. The realization of an organizational chart to properly prescribe perineal rehabilitation remains incomplete due to lack of power and studies on methods of rehabilitation.
