Intégration d’une fonction de régulation de vitesse dans un système d’aide à la gestion du trafic

Abstract : The constant increase of traffic, dynamic speed regulation has become an indispensable measure allowing highway managers to optimize the capacity of their infrastructure. The main purpose of this type of measurement is to delay as much as possible the appearance of saturation of some of road sections with speed reducing during a high traffic period. The subject of this report deals with the integration of a dynamic speed control system in a traffic management system itself submitted to high availability constraints. The originality of this project lies in the methodology implemented to adapt a distributed system and enable it to cohabit in weak coupling mode with another satellite system. The followed approach has aimed to answer to the major constraint consisting in maintaining the autonomy of the traffic management system in case of malfunction of the coupled system.
