Traumatismes dentaires pédiatriques : quelle prise en charge par les omnipraticiens en cabinets libéraux de Nouvelle-Aquitaine ?

Abstract : Dental injuries are most frequent during the first ten years of life. In 2012, the International Association of Dental Traumatology published guidelines which are the recommendations for diagnosis and treatment of Traumatism Dental Injuries. So, when a practitioner treats a dental trauma, it is important to respect these recommendations and to have the best treatment in emergency. The aim of this study was to evaluate the degree of knowledge in the management of two differents scenarios of dental traumas in a population of Nouvelle-Aquitaine dentists. The survey was sent by mail and 130 replies were received. We do not highlighted gaps in the knowledge of the treatment in emergency, but there is a lack in medical interrogation and prescriptions.
