Étude des modalités d’analyse pharmaceutique des prescriptions médicamenteuses d’une cohorte franco-québécoise de pharmaciens hospitaliers : facteurs influents, enjeux et perspectives

Abstract : Medication order review is a fundamental pharmacist activity and essential for the optimisation of drug therapy. The objective was to study the medication review methods of hospital pharmacists in Quebec and France, according to the pharmacist’s qualification (resident, senior, department head) and the different pharmacy department organizations. Indeed, medication review can be performed by a pharmacist from pharmacy department (centralized validation), from patient care areas (decentralized validation) or from pharmacy department with decentralized pharmacists in patient care areas (centralized validation with decentralized pharmacists). We examined the influencing factors, issues and prospects related to this core pharmaceutical activity.
