Solutions alternatives de mobilité. Benchmark et opportunités de déploiement sur le territoire de Rennes Métropole

Abstract : This document is a report on the work realised during an internship at Keolis Rennnes. The subject is alternative mobility solutions on Rennes Métropole’s territory.
The agglomeration experiences a demographic, economic and scientific development, which creates new demands for urban mobility that doesn’t fit with traditional mass transit solutions.
The work on alternative approaches identified actions to highlight the accessibility of the public transports network on one hand and public facilities on the other hand. To achieve the goal in widened catchment areas, pedestrian orientation facilities and park and ride lots should be improved. The benchmark of national and international practices shows possibilities of development of carpooling by highlighting its facilities and creating interfaces between existing practices and the STAR network.
The integration of alternative forms of mobility should allow the development of a more efficient public transport network.
