Extraction et implantation immédiate dans le traitement des secteurs postérieurs : les données actuelles

Abstract : Osseointegration is an essential goal in implantology and is conditioned by many factors. In addition to the general state of health of the patient, the type of implant used or the surgical technique used, the question "How long does it take to implant? »is unavoidable. Essentially described in the literature in the anterior sector, the protocol of extraction and immediate implantation in the posterior sector, even if little documented, is frequently practiced by experienced practitioners. Firstly, it will be interesting to look at the fundamentals of osseointegration and history of treatment by extraction and immediate implantation. In a second time, by using the literature and its results, the study of the different elements influencing this protocol will be carried out in order to clarify certain points even to challenge certain received ideas. Finally, an analysis of the decisive factors and disadvantages of this technique will enable to know the imperatives to follow and highlight the indications to know in order to make implantation and immediate implantation in the posterior sector the most predictable possible.
