L'enseignement explicite peut-il améliorer l'attention des élèves en classe ?

Abstract : Paying attention in class is an important notion because it favors higher quality learning. A lot of teachers think that specific educational practices can improve a pupil's attention span in the classroom. The Direct Instruction research goal was to test 10th grade pupils during French courses. The experiment was conducted over three sessions to compare Direct Instruction to a more "traditional" educational practice. The experiment's results showed that the pupil's attention span was increased when Direct Instruction practices were used. Therefore, this search illustrates that Direct Instruction is the best educational practice.
